What is Energy ⚡️?

"Energy" is a universal resource used by free members on VoiceTube. It helps you unlock premium features, conduct intensive practice, and enjoy an unobstructed learning experience.

Obtaining and Restoring Energy

You can check your current Energy status anytime by looking at the icon in the top right corner of the APP homepage or the Web page.

The system automatically restores your Energy, replenishing 1 point every 60 minutes.
If your Energy is low, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad. Each successfully viewed ad will replenish 5 Energy points.

Use and Consumption of Energy

Energy is primarily used for two main categories of features, but the consumption rules vary slightly:

1. Unlocking Video Learning Tools (Daily Reset)

Unlock learning tools for unlimited use on the day of unlocking (Resets at 3:00 AM the following day, after which the feature returns to a locked state)

Print Subtitles

Once unlocked, the same tool can be used an unlimited number of times across all platforms for that specific video until the 3:00 AM reset.

Example: If you spend 1 Energy point today to unlock the subtitle feature for "Video A," you can view the complete subtitles for "Video A" unlimited times on both the computer and the app until the 03:00 AM reset. However, if you watch "Video B," you will need to consume Energy again to unlock its features.

2. Practice, Quizzes, and Analysis

Energy is consumed every time the feature is used, acting like a "single-entry ticket."

All quiz and practice features
Pronunciation analysis after recording

Energy Consumption/Replenishment Notification

When you successfully consume Energy to unlock a feature (such as complete subtitles) or replenish Energy (by watching an ad), the system will provide clear success feedback notifications.

Energy Point System FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1: I am a free member now. What should I do when I run out of Energy?

When your Energy is insufficient, a prompt will appear. You can choose one of the following methods:

Wait for automatic restoration: 1 Energy point is restored every 60 minutes.
Watch an ad: Replenish 5 Energy points.
Upgrade to Pro: Get unlimited Energy.

Q2: Does the Energy Point system replace all previous restrictions?

Yes. The Energy Point system unifies all restrictions for free members.

All previous feature limits for free members (e.g., 5 daily vocabulary practice sessions, pronunciation analysis usable only 10 times lifetime, etc.) are now unified into Energy point consumption.

Q3: Why is the video feature I unlocked yesterday locked again today?

This is the normal "Daily Reset" mechanism.

Unlocked features within each video (such as subtitles, usage examples) only remain unlocked until 03:00 AM the following day. After the reset, you must consume 1 Energy point again to unlock that specific video feature.

Q4: What are the Energy consumption rules for practice and quizzes?

Practice and quizzes consume Energy "per entry."

For example: Entering the "Vocabulary Quiz" consumes 1 Energy point. If you exit the page and wish to re-enter, even for the quiz of the same video, you must consume 1 Energy point again.

Q5: I am a Guest (non-logged-in user). Can I use Energy points?

Yes, but with restrictions. Guests can also experience the Energy Point system, but they are limited to a maximum Energy cap of 3 points, and cannot replenish Energy through "automatic restoration" or "watching ads." When a guest's Energy reaches zero, the system will prompt you to log in or register to activate the full Energy restoration mechanism.

Q6: Can Pro members still see the Energy point icon?

Yes. Pro members will still see the Energy icon, but it will display "Energy Unlimited ∞."
